When you order a custom portrait from PortraitsByWJW your photo will be professionally edited personally by me. This editing will remove any dust, lint, scratches, redeye, unwanted glare, etc. Various other adjustments may also be implemented to improve the overall quality of the image. Once I am satisfied with those improvements I will then use my painting technique on the image in the style that you choose. The styles are as follows: Realistic, Impressionistic, Watercolor and Pop Art. Examples of these styles can be seen under the 'Styles and Samples' tab. You can choose to keep the original background of your photo or opt to change it to any one of the many backgrounds I have available. If you don't see one you like I can even make a custom one for you.
Pricing
Your portrait will be printed in the size of your choice up to 16"x20". I recommend using standard sizes as there are many frames readily available in those sizes. Also, instead of having the completed portrait printed by me, you can choose to have it emailed directly to you as a digital file. The digital file option allows you to print the portrait yourself. This means that you can have the finished portrait emailed to you within a couple of hours from placing your order (if requested). It also means that you save $25 in printing and shipping costs. There are usually a number of local print services you can use such as Office Depot if you do not have your own printer. If you choose to have your portraits printed by me, you can get them delivered in a timely manner, usually shipped out the same day (if requested). These portraits are printed on one of the best wide format printers available using Ultra Premium Matte paper. They will arrive wrapped in tissue paper in a durable shipping tube. Due to the fragility of glass and shipping costs framing is available for local pickup only.
